The Infiradi Koshish of a Saint in his tomb

The Infiradi Koshish of a Saint in his tomb

My Dear Islamic Brothers! Alhamdu-Lillah(Azzawajal) the Saints of Islam are kept in high esteem within the environment of Dawat-e-Islami, to tell you the truth, by the grace of Allah(Azzawajal) Dawat e Isalmi is alive due to the Blessings of Auliya. Here is a faith enlightening report of the Infiradi Koshish for a Madani Qafila done by a Wali of Allah(Rehmatullahi Ta'ala Alai) who rests in his blessed grave by an Islamic brother which I am writing in my own words; Alhamdu-Lillah(Azzawajal) a Madani Qafila of Aashiqaan-e-Rasool travelled from chaqwal (Punjab, Pakistan) to Muzaffarabad and surrounding villages to convey the message of the sunnah, they stopped at a place called 'Anwaar Shareef'. Four Islamic brothers who lived in this area decided to travel for three days in the Madani Qafila along with the Aashiqaan-e-Rasool. Amongst these four was someone from the descendants of a saint(Rehmatullahi Ta'ala Alai) who was buried in 'Anwaar Shareef'. Whilst pursuing its journey of inviting towards good, the Madani Qafila reached a place called 'Garee Dopattah'. When the three days of the 'Anwaar Shareef' brothers ended, the descendant of that blessed Saint(Rehmatullahi Ta'ala Alai) said, 'I will not return, because last night I saw my 'Hazrat' in a dream, he was saying, 'Son! Do not return home, travel further with the Madani Qafila''. This story of the Infiradi Koshish of that great Saint(Rehmatullahi Ta'ala Alai) sent a wave of joy through the Madani Qafila, everyone felt a boost of confidence and the four Islamic brothers that had come from Anwaar Shareef decided to travel further with the Madani Qafila.

A disabled mother is cured!

This is a summary of a statement given by an Islamic brother in Bab-ul-Madina Karachi; 'My mother was seriously ill, her illness was so bad that she could not even lift herself off the bed, the doctors had declared her incurable. I had heard that by travelling with Aashiqaan-e-Rasool in the Madani Qafilay of Dawat-e-Islami a persons Dua is accepted and people are granted relief from illnessess. This made me decide to undertake such a journey as well, so I made my way to the 'Madani Tarbiyyat gah' in the luminous international Madani Markaz of Dawat-e-Islami and expressed the desire to travel for three days in a Madani Qafila, the Islamic brothers there were very friendly and made arrangements instantly. In the company of Aashiqaan-e-Rasool I travelled to a village near Sehra-e-Madina (Bab-ul-Madina Sindh), during the journey I told the participants of the Qafila about my mother and asked them to pray for her, they prayed for her, which encouraged me a great deal. The Ameer of that Qafila very politely encouraged me to travel for another 30 days, and I agreed. I prayed wholeheartedly for my mother's health. On the third day of this three day Madani Qafila I saw an unusual dream, I dreamt of a pious man whose face was shining very brightly, he said to me, 'do not worry about your mother In'shaa-Allah(Azzawajal) she will soon get better'. After completing my three days I returned to my house, I knocked on the door, when the door opened I was shocked to see that the same mother who could not even get herself off the bed had walked to the door and opened it, out of extreme joy I kissed my mother's feet and told her about my dream. Thereafter I sought her permission to travel again with the Aashiqaan-e-Rasool in a Madani Qafila for 30 days, and I did.

Q 3: Are the same words repeated in every Azaan?
A. Yes, in every Azaan the same words are proclaimed except for Fajr Azaan in which these words "Assalaatu Khaierum Minan Naum'' (prayer is better than sleep) are uttered twice after "Haie-ya 'Alal Falaa".

Q 4: How should one make Azaan?

A. Believer who intends to make Azaan (call to prayer) should stand in the state of ablution, on a high or elevated place outside the precinct of mosque facing the Qibla with his index fingers in his ears and loudly utter the words of Azaan at ease. A. Believer must invoke Allah's blessings (recite Durood Sharif) on him when Mu'azzin utters "Ashhadu Anna Muhammadar Rasoolul Laah'' and better to say "Qurratu 'Aienee Beka Yaa Rasoolal Laah. Alla-humma Matte'nee Bissam'i wal-Basar" (O' the Messenger of Allah! you are the delight of my eyes. O' Allah! bless my hearing and sight faculties) while kissing his thumbs and then touching them with his eyes.

Q 9: What should be recited on hearing "As-salaatu Khaierum Minan Naum'' (prayer is better than sleep)?

A. Say "Sadaqta wa-Bararta wa-Bil-haqi Nataqt'' (You have spoken the truth and done a good deed).

“O’ Allah! The Sovereign Lord of the ever-establishing prayer and of this perfect call, grant our leader Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) “Al-Waseelah” (the loftiest position of intercession) and “Al-Fadeela” (the singular excellence), and the highest rank and elevate him to “Maqaam-e-Mahmood” (an exclusively praise-worthy primacy reserved only for the Holy Prophet) and bless us with his intercession on the Doomsday. You never travel alone

YOU NEVER TRAVEL ALONE

You come to the end of an important stage of your journey,
No doubt, it has had its ups and downs, twists, and turns,
No doubt, you have experienced many emotions – joy and sorrow, success, failure, boredom and surprise.
No doubt, your learning has taken place both inside and outside of home,
No doubt, you’ve made mistakes not just on paper but in your relationships with others,
No doubt there’s been pain but no doubt there’s been healing too,
No doubt, you’ve made deep friendships,
No doubt, you’ve learnt as much from others for the persons they are, as you have from the content of their actions.

You reach a crossroads – which way from here?
Perhaps the road ahead seems clear, perhaps uncertain, perhaps few seem to have travelled it before.
Whatever your new road ahead maybe, stop and reflect for a moment and know this:

YOU NEVER TRAVEL ALONE

The Almighty walks with you each day, each moment,
He travels at your side and though you may not recognise Him always,
He is there,
He walks ahead to make sure your path is safe,
He walks by to give you company.
He walks behind, should you trip and fall, so that He may pick you up,
He is your food and drink, He is your bridge, He is your friend.

May you continue to journey with Him realising He is there – in the valleys and on the mountain tops.
Accept that in His eyes you are unique, a one – off created with love,
Accept that others are glad their path has crossed for a short time with yours,
Accept that you will be missed when you are not around,
Always accept your new journey ahead, because you never travel alone.

DUST WE ARE

Dust we are; return to it we must
Adam, our ancestor, was created from dust.

Reduce us to it in your search,
O God! Dust is our medal from our dear Lord.

That dust on which Prophet set his feet.
For us is better than a heavenly seat.

Sky was hurt deeply by the sharp irony.
When Earth said, "Madinah is located on me"

Prophet described Ali as "dust’s father"
Who is our wise guide and brave leader.

O seekers! Walk humbly in right earnest
Under this earth is our Prophet’s place of rest.

Prophet’s grave and Kaabah are made with dust
So respect it always every-where we must.

Raza! In Allah’s eyes we will have no worth
If we do not love Madinah on this earth.

The Muslim Woman

The Muslim Woman is the stem
The Muslim Woman is a gem

Made from my rib,
Watch her, over our crib

I was lonely until you came
Without you how could it be the same?

You bore me in pain
But nursed me with pleasure

Hard work I owe you
Your respect beyond measure

Oh how the angels hovered
That blessed day that you covered

Keeping your charms a surprise
For the one with whom you make ties

A guard you proudly keep
From eyes that do more than peep

A duty that I would struggle to do
So God made it a blessing for you

Hiding such beautiful hairs
Hiding from excessive stares

In honored distinguishment, above those who don't care
Who feel no shame, in being so bare

Oh how I must strive to support you
Oh how could I ever abort you?

The line between us is fine
For your job is just as hard as mine

But together we make a team
Seeking the Siraatul-Mustaqeem (straight path)

Your submission to God, is my greatest attraction
Your understanding of his word, is my greatest satisfaction

Truly you are the backbone, yes, you are the stem
Truly Muslim Woman, you are a precious gem....

When Death Came Knocking

It was early in the morning at four,
When death knocked upon a bedroom door,

Who is there? The sleeping one cried.
I'm Malaikat Maut, let me inside.

At once, the man began to shiver,
As one sweating in deadly fever,

He shouted to his sleeping wife,
Don't let him take away my life.

Please go away, O Angel of Death!
Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet.

My family on me depends,
Give me a chance, O please prepense!

The angel knocked again and again,
Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,

Tis your soul Allah requires,
I come not with my own desire.

Bewildered, the man began to cry,
O Angel I'm so afraid to die,

I'll give you gold and be your slave,
Don't send me to the unlit grave.

Let me in, O Friend! The Angel said,
Open the door; get up from your bed,

If you do not allow me in,
I will walk through it, like a Jinn.

The man held a gun in his right hand,
Ready to defy the Angel's stand.

I'll point my gun, towards your head,
You dare come in; I'll shoot you dead.

By now the Angel was in the room,
Saying, O Friend! Prepare for you doom.

Foolish man, Angels never die,
Put down your gun and do not sigh.

Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,
To die according to Allah's plan?

Come smile at me, do not be grim,
Be Happy to return to Him.

O Angel! I bow my head in shame,
I had no time to take Allah's Name.

From morning till dusk, I made my wealth,
Not even caring for my health.

Allah's command I never obeyed,
Nor five times a day I ever prayed.

A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went,
But no time had I to repent.

The Hajj was already FARD on me,
But I would not part with my money.

All charities I did ignore,
Taking usury more and more.

Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine,
With flirting women I sat to dine.

O Angel! I appeal to you,
Spare my life for a year or two.

The Laws of Quran I will obey,
I'll begin SALAT this very day.

My Fast and Hajj, I will complete,
And keep away from self-conceit.

I will refrain from usury,
And give all my wealth to charity,

Wine and wenches I will detest,
Allah's oneness I will attest.

We Angels do what Allah demands,
We cannot go against His commands.

Death is ordained for everyone,
Father, mother, daughter or son.

I'm afraid this moment is your last,
Now be reminded, of your past,

I do understand your fears,
But it is now too late for tears.

You lived in this world, two score and more,
Never did you, your people adore.

Your parents, you did not obey,
Hungry beggars, you turned away.

Your two ill-gotten, female offspring,
In nightclubs, for livelihood they sing.

Instead of making more Muslims,
You made your children non-Muslims.

You ignored the Mua'dhin Adhaan,
Nor did you read the Holy Quran.

Breaking promises all your life,
Backbiting friends, and causing strife.

From hoarded goods, great profits you made,
And your poor workers, you underpaid.

Horses and cards were your leisure,
Moneymaking was your pleasure.

You ate vitamins and grew more fat,
With the very sick, you never sat.

A pint of blood you never gave,
Which could a little baby save?

O Human, you have done enough wrong,
You bought good properties for a song.

When the farmers appealed to you,
You did not have mercy, tis true.

Paradise for you? I cannot tell,
Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.

There is no time for you to repent,
I'll take your soul for which I am sent.

The ending however, is very sad,
Eventually the man became mad

With a cry, he jumped out of bed,
And suddenly, he fell down dead.

O Reader! Take moral from here,
You never know, your end may be near

Change your living and make amends
For heaven, on your deeds depends.

Prophets Of Allah.

Revelations to Prophets were hundred and four Messages,
Four of which were Books, and a Hundred are called Pages.

Zebur He gave to Dawood (Alaihis- salaam)
And to Musa (Alaihis Salaam) was revealed the Torah

Afterwards Jibrail took the Injil to Isa (Alaihis-Salam)
Then He brought the Quran to Habibullah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) when required,

Completing it in twenty- three years; then Revelation expired.

I believe in that Prophets are innocent and sinless,
Pure, trust worthy, loyal in conveying Allah's commandments.

From treason, sinning, idiocy, lying, giving up secrets
Were free and far all prophets, this is exceptionless.

Some scholars said: it is wajib to know Prophet's names
Allah in the Qur'an gives us twenty-eight of their names

Hadrat Adam is the first of all Prophets:
The last is Muhammad Rasullah, (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) the highest of Prophets.

Between the two, Prophets that came are some myriad;
None but Allah knows how many in such a long period.

The Messengers canons with their death will not expire;
Compared with all the Angels, the Prophets are higher.

Our Prophets dispensation is valid forever;
With his canon will Allah judge all in the hereafte!

Whatever communicated to us the darling of Allah.
I accept as such, in submission to Word of Allah.

The beauty of a woman

The beauty of a woman:
Is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair,
or the style she does make up.
The beauty of a woman:
must be seen in her Hijab, and her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman:
is not in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman,
is reflected in her soul.
The beauty of woman is in her modesty.
And the real glamour of her is her honesty.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
the passion that she shows.
And the beauty of a woman,
with passing years - only grows!

Ya Allah, Forgive Me

Today, upon a bus,
I saw a girl with golden hair.
and wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, a smile.
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 legs, the world is mine.
I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind."
"It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play.
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
And then I knew, he couldn't hear.
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears, the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Ya Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine

Sins of the Tongue

You think its cool to be a clown
And with the girls/ guys you fool around

Without a thought for your Lord
The mouth opens, tongue like a sword

With a few fast words
You cut to pieces those silly 'nerds'

They stand stunned and humiliated
In their hearts they are disgusted

While you laugh at them aloud
Standing with your friends all proud

O fellow Muslim, be careful of what you say
For soon will come Judgement day

Those whom you did wrong
Will come to Allah along

Justice they will seek
That day you will be the geek

From your good deeds they will transfer
And when you have no more left to give another

Then upon you will be placed their sins
Soon after your eternal life begins

To hellfire you will be shown
And deep inside you will be thrown

O Muslim,
Change now whilst you have the chance and time
Resolve to commit not with your tongue this crime!

Learn from Ali Radi Allahu anhu

Learn from Ali how to fight
without you ego participating.

God's lion did nothing
that didn't originate
from his deep center.

Once in battle he got the best of a certain knight
and quickly drew his sword.the man,
helpless on the ground,spat
in Ali face,Ali dropped his sword,
relaxed, and helped the man to his feet.

"why have you spared me?
how has lightning contracted back
into its cloud?speak,my prince,
so that my soul can begin to stir
in me like a embryo."

Ali was quiet and then finally answered,
"I AM GOD'S LION,NOT THE LION OF PASSION...
I HAVE NO LONGING EXCEPT FOR THE ONE.

WHEN A WIND OF PERSONAL REACTION COMES,
I DO NOT GO ALONG WITH IT.

THERE ARE MANY WINDS FULL OF ANGER,
AND LUST AND GREED.THEY MOVE THE RUBBISH AROUND,
BUT THE SOLID MOUNTAIN OF OUR TRUE NATURE
STAYS WHERE IT'S ALWAYS BEEN.

THERE'S NOTHING NOW
EXCEPT THE DIVINE QUALITIES.
COME THROUGHT THE OPENING INTO ME.

YOUR IMPUDENCE WAS BETTER THAN ANY REVERENCE,
BECAUSE IN THIS MOMENT I AM YOU AND YOU ARE ME.

I GIVE YOU THIS OPENED HEART AS GOD GIVES GIFTS:
THE POISON OF YOUR SPIT HAS BECOME
THE HONEY OF FRIENDSHIP."

Children Learn What They Live

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty
.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.

If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.

If a child lives with the love of Allah (swt), s/he learns about his/her Creator .
If a child lives with those who truly love the best of creation, s/he learns about true Islam.

If a child lives with those who are pracicing Muslims, s/he learns to distinguish
between sincerity and hypocrisy.

If a child lives with everything Halal, s/he learns about purity.
If a child lives with Modesty (Hiyah), s/he learns about self respect.

If a child lives with Dhikrr (remembrance), s/he learns about Takwah (fear) of Allah (swa).

If a child lives with Takwah, s/he learns to have self control.
If a child lives with self control, s/he learns to strengthen their Iman
(faith).
If a child lives with strong Iman, s/he learns to be a true Muslim.
If a child grows into a true Muslim s/he will taste the fruits of Jennah.

Raising Muslim children in society is a challenge. We must however rise to the challenge and follow the footsteps of our most beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and make sacrifices for the betterment of tomorrow’s generation...

Jazakallah

A Mothers Hope...

"Paradise lies at the feet of mothers".

My lovely child, my sweetheart

I have carried you for many days

and struggled therein in many ways

But on the horizon I saw

The ultimate joy of seeing you

of knowing how you look so

My lovely child, my sweetheart

I can recall the sleepless nights

your eyes shone like a bright light

At times, I felt utter despair

and tiredness, beyond repair

but on the horizon I saw

the ultimate joy of hearing you

speak and say "Momma"

I can never repay

what you have done for me, nay

But I can love you so

thousand times more

Momma, I can never repay

what you have done for me, nay

but I can cherish you so

thousand times more

The Prophet s.a.w said: "Paradise lies at the feet of mothers". In other words, Paradise awaits those who cherish and respect their mothers.

"Your Lord has decreed that you should worship nothing except Him, and (show) kindness to your parents, whether one or both of them attain old age (while they are) still with you, never say to them a word of contempt nor scold them. Address them in a generous fashion. And out of kindness, stay before them with humility and say: 'My Lord, show them mercy, just as they cared for me in my childhood' " (17:23-24).

From Masjid-ul-Haram to Masjid-ul-Aqsa
On Al-Buraq, in the night.

In prostration were they to Allah
Master of the universe and the Heavens

In the darkness of the night did they go
Up to the Heavens one by one
With Angel Jibrail alayhis 'salam by His side
The gates of the heavens opened wide

Angels all around and Prophets to see
Angel Jibrail alayhis 'salam led our beloved Rasool Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Beyond the Heavens up to the Lote-Tree
The Sidraat-ul-Muntahaa.

Our dear beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallammet with
His creator, His Master, Allah
As near and close as He could be
This Most beautiful vision
His eyes could see

Miraj un Nabi, Miraj-un-Nabi
How loving and close is He
Allah loves His Rasool dearly
More than you, more than me.

My Lovely Mother

O my lovely mother truly life is with you,

Without you I am lonely its like no one is true

O my mother how it is beautiful to come home when your there

But when your not there no one seems to care weather I am there or not

O my mother the softness of silk is felt when you open your arms to me

But when your not there mother to do that the sharp thorns are thrown at me when I need a hug

O my mother it feels so great to lower my burden when your listening to me

But without you no one wants to know it seems the burden keeps on increasing until it becomes unbearable

O my mother when ever I was hurt your tear's came out first and then mine

But when your not there I cry a thousand tears but no one wants to listen no one hears

We thank you Allah

We Thank you Allah

For All the things
we have today;
for all our friends
we love so much
for home, for food
for work and play,
we thank you,
Oh Allah.

When I was Ill

One day when I was feeling ill
a sparrow flew on to my window sill.
He didn't see me tucked up in bed
as he pecked away at a piece of bread.

I thought of how he could fly
when I, in bed could only lie.
I thought how Allah had made him small
and then of dinosaurs, and giraffes so tall.

I thought of many, many things
some with four legs, others with wings.
I thought how wonderful Allah is
because everything around me is really His.

Who Am I??

An Excellent poem about the Muslim Woman.

What do you see
when you look at me
Do you see someone limited,
or someone free

All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair

Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated

They are so thankful that they are not me
Because they would like to remain 'free'

Well free isn't exactly the word I would've used
Describing women who are cheated on and abused

They think that I do not have opinions or voice
They think that being hooded isn't my choice

They think that the hood makes me look caged
That my husband or dad are totally outraged

All they can do is look at me in fear
And in my eye there is a tear

Not because I have been stared at or made fun of
But because people are ignoring the one up above

On the day of judgment they will be the fools
Because they were too ashamed to play by their own rules

Maybe the guys won't think I am a cutie
But at least I am filled with more inner beauty

See I have declined from being a guy's toy
Because I won't let myself be controlled by a boy

Real men are able to appreciate my mind
And aren't busy looking at my behind

Hooded girls are the ones really helping the muslim cause
The role that we play definitely deserves applause

I will be recognized because I am smart and bright
And because some people are inspired by my sight

The smart ones are attracted by my tranquility
In the back of their mind they wish they were me

We have the strength to do what we think is right
Even if it means putting up a life long fight

You see we are not controlled by a mini skirt and tight shirt
We are given only respect, and never treated like dirt

So you see, we are the ones that are free and liberated
We are not the ones that are sexually terrorized and violated

We are the ones that are free and pure
We're free of STD's that have no cure

So when people ask you how you feel about the hood
Just sum it up by saying 'baby its all good'

A prayer

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam
I asked ALLAH to take away my habit.
ALLAH said, No.
It is not for me to take away ,but for you to give it up.
I asked ALLAH to make my handicapped child whole.
ALLAH said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary
I asked ALLAH to grant me patience.
ALLAH said, No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.
I asked ALLAH to give me happiness.
ALLAH said, No.
I give you blessing; Happiness is up to you.
I asked ALLAH to spare me pain.
ALLAH said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.
I asked ALLAH to make my spirit grow.
ALLAH said, No.
You must grow on your own! ,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked ALLAH for all things that I might enjoy life.
ALLAH said , No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.
I ask ALLAH to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
ALLAH said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.
THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY
May ALLAH Bless You,
To the world you might be one person, but to one
prson you just might be the world"
For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves,ALLAH has apositive answer
You say: "It's impossible"
ALLAH says: All things are possible
You say: "I'm too tired"
ALLAH says: I will give you rest
You say: "I can't figure things out"
ALLAH says: I will direct your steps
You say: " I can't do it"
ALLAH says: You can do all things
You say : " I'm not able"
ALLAH says : I am able
You say : "it's not worth it"
ALLAH says :It will be worth it
You say : " I can't forgive myself"
ALLAH says : I FORGIVE YOU
You say: " I can't manage"
ALLAH says : I will supply all your needs
You say : "I'm afraid"
ALLAH says: I have not given you a spirit of fear
You say : " I'm always worried and frustrated"
ALLAH says : Cast all your cares on ME
You say : " I don't have enough faith"
ALLAH says : I've given everyone a measure of faith
You say : " I'm not smart enough"
ALLAH says : I give you wisdom
You say : "I feel all alone"
ALLAH says : I will never leave you or forsake you
You say : " Nobody really loves me"
ALLAH says : I LOVE YOU
May ALLAH be pleased with all Muslims (Ameen)
love each and every Muslim for the Pleasure of ALLAH ! "It is in remembrance of ALLAH that the heart finds peace"

Women In Islam

How do women fit into Islam?? What is their fate??
This has beenthe subject of many a debate.
For the believing men and women is a great reward.
This is from surah al Azaab, the words of our Lord
It can be seen from reading the Quran
That a woman has some privilege over a man.

Praying is exempted during menstruation
here Islam gives women consideration
A woman after marriage becomes awife
for nine long months she carries a new life
during childbirth she is exempted from fast
Islam is against the burying of girls in the past.

They can pray at the mosque or even at home
they may marry or divorce its their choice their own
after marraige she can retain her maiden name
and is rewarded for treating all her offspring the same
once they are married they should live pious lives
and the best amn are those who are best to their wives

Islam shows equality my sisters and brothers
Dont forget paradise lies at the feet of your mothers.
Women in the Uk had propert rights from 1938
this right was given by Islam 14 centuries to date
In the uk women could vote from 1918
this was stated 1400 years ago in Islam our deen

Women acn work and lead a happily married life
but shouldn't neglect their role as mother and wife
a woman for her childs up bringing deserves her credit
Islam also gives a woman the right to inherit
A womans status in Islam we should never neglect
In Islam they are favoured and deserve their respect.

so true what great privileges and respect Islam has given us women

You And Me

Before mankind lived upon this earth
Adam was created without father or birth
Allah made him from different coloured clay
so that is why our skins are colored in this way.

Some of us are dark and others a kind of white
but it is only our belief that separates us in his sight
He made us all to know one another
to become sisters and brothers to each other.

But Satan has worked to disrupt this perfect plan
by scheming devising and then separating man
so forget about the reflection in the mirror that you see
seek only the believing person you really want to be.

So forget about color and forget about pride
and let Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam be our only guide.
guiding us to the path that is so very straight
that strengthens us against Satan the wicked degenerate.

Some famous sayings about Imam Hussain

Charles Dickens had said the following about Imam Hussain :

"If Hussain fought to quench his worldly desires, then I do not understand why his sisters, wives and children accompanied him. It stands to reason therefore that he sacrificed purely for Islam."

Thomas Carlyle has relayed this about the Tragedy of Karbala:

"The best lesson which we get from the tragedy of Karbala is that Hussain and his companions were the rigid believers of God. They illustrated that numerical superiority does not count when it comes to truth and falsehood. The victory of Hussain despite his minority marvels me!"

The famous, Dr. K. Sheldrake on Imam Hussain said this:

"Hussain marched with his little company not to glory, not to power or wealth, but to a supreme sacrifice and every member of that gallant band, male and female, knew that the foes were implacable, were not only ready to fight but to kill. Denied even water for the children, they remained parched under a burning sun, amid scorching sands yet no one faltered for a moment and bravely faced the greatest odds without flinching."

Brown in his `A Literary History of Persia' writes:

As a reminder, the blood-stained field of Karbala' where the grandson of the Apostle of God fell at length, tortured by thirst and surrounded by the bodies of his murdered kinsmen, has been at any time since then sufficient to evoke, even in the most lukewarm and heedless, the deepest emotion, the most frantic grief and the exaltation of spirit before which pain, danger, and death shrink to unconsidered trifles. Yearly, on the tenth day of Muharram, the tragedy is rehearsed in Persia, in India, in Turkey, in Egypt, wherever a Shiite community or colony exists; ... As I write it all comes back; the wailing chant, the sobbing multitudes, the white raiment red with blood from self-inflicted wounds, the intoxication of grief and sympathy.

World famous Arab historian al-Fakhri

has said this about Imam Hussain's sacrifice:

"This is a catastrophe whereof I care not to speak at length, deeming it alike too grievous and too horrible. For verily, it was a catastrophe than that which naught more shameful has happened in Islam...There happened therein such a foul slaughter as to cause man's flesh to creep with horror. And again I have dispersed with my long description because of it's notoriety, for it is the most lamented of catastrophes."

Sir Muhammad Iqbal says:

Imam Husayn uprooted despotism forever till the Day of Resurrection. He watered the dry garden of freedom with the surging wave of his blood, and indeed he awakened the sleeping Muslim nation.

If Imam Husayn had aimed at acquiring a worldly empire, he would not have traveled the way he did (from Medina to Karbala). Husayn weltered in blood and dust for the sake of truth. Verily he, therefore, became the bed-rock (foundation) of the Muslim creed; la ilaha illa Allah (There is no god but Allah).

Ronay wala hoon Shaheed-e-Kerbala key gham men main,
Kya durey maqsad na dengey Saqiye Kausar mujhey.....!!

I am one who weeps at the plight of the Martyr of Kerbala
Won't the reward be given to me by the Keeper of Kauser...!!
Allama Iqbal in his Baqiyat (in Urdu)

KHWAJA MOINUDDIN CHISTI says:

He gave his head, but did not put his hand into the hands of Yazid.

Verily, Husayn is the foundation of la ilaha illa Allah. Husayn is lord and the lord of lords. Husayn himself is Islam and the shield of Islam. Though he gave his head (for Islam) but never pledged Yazid. Truly Husayn is the founder of "There is no Deity except Allah ."

*~Shah hast Hussain, Badshah hast Hussain
Deen hast Hussain, Deen Panah hast Hussain
Sardad na dad dast, dar dast-e-yazeed,
Haqaa key binaey La ila hast Hussain~*

*~It's Hussain the Prince, it's Hussain the king,
He is Faith, and Faith's Defender most daring,
He preferred death to Yazid's allegiance,
With his blood, Islam has verily been living~*

Hussaini groom

Sheikh Muhammad bin Sulaimaan Jazuli says that I was once on a journey. I was at one place when it was time to offer salaah. There was a well there but no rope or bucket to take the water out. I was still thinking about this problem when a girl looked from the top of a house and asked, 'What are you looking for?' I replied, 'I am looking for a bucket and some rope.' She asked my name and I told her. She said, 'Oh, so it is you who is spoken about a lot but your condition is such that you can't even remove water from a well.' After saying this, she spat in the well. As soon as she did this, water started rising in the well and started flowing out. Muhammad bin Sulaimaan Jazuli performed his wudu and offered his salaah and then asked the girl, 'Tell me truthfully, how did you achieve this marvel?' She replied, 'I recite Durood Shareef and with its blessing, this marvel happened.' He says that I was so impressed by that girl that I promised I would write a book all about Durood Shareef. (sa'aada-tud-darain, P159) Therefore, he wrote a book all about Durood Shareef which is famously known as 'Dalail-ul-Khairaat'.

During the last few days, we remembered the great martyrs of Karbala. I will now tell you a painful story of a Hussaini groom. Allama Moulana Sayyid Muhammad Naeem-ud-Deen Muraadabaadi narrates in his book 'Sawanih-e-Karbala',

Hussaini groom

Sayyiduna Wahb ibn'e Abdullah Kalbi was a good natured youngster from the tribe of Bani Kalb. He had only been married for 17 days when his mother came to him. His mother was a widow and her only prize and possession was her son. She embraced her son and started crying. Sayyiduna Wahb in confusion asked his mother, 'Dear mother! Why are you upset? I don't remember ever upsetting you during my lifetime and neither can I ever think of doing that in the future. It is fard for me to obey your orders and In'shaa-Allah until the day I die I will be your obedient. Dear mother! What is worrying you and what has made you cry? My dear mother! I am willing to sacrifice my life on your order. Please don't be upset.' On hearing this, his mother let out a scream and started crying even more and said, 'My son, you are the light of my eyes, you are the peace of my heart, you are the only flower in my garden. Through sweat and tears I fed you, I cannot bear a single moment without you and my heart becomes distressed in your absence. My dear son! Today on the ground of Karbala, the grandson of the Prophet , the beloved of Sayyiduna Ali , the light of the eyes of Sayyidatuna Fatima is getting crushed under oppression and cruelty. My Beloved! Is it possible for you to sacrifice your life at their feet? I would spit on this world if we are still alive and the beloved grandson of the Holy prophet is mercilessly martyred. If you remember the love that I gave to you when you were growing up, if you have not forgotten then my dear son! Sacrifice yourself for Hussain .' The Hussaini groom Sayyiduna Wahb said, 'My Dear Mother! It is my good fortune if I can sacrifice my life for Hussain and I am prepared to do so. I need permission for a short while though so that I can go see that woman who has given up everything in this world for me and does not look at any other man apart from me. I am worried about her and if she wishes, I will give her permission to spend her life how ever she wants.' The mother said, 'My Dear Son! Woman have a different mentality, you might become trapped in her words and might let this opportunity leave your hands.' The Hussaini groom Sayyiduna Wahb said, 'My Dear Mother! My love for Imam Hussain is so tight in my heart that no-one can open that knot of love and no-one can wash that love away.' After saying this, he went to his wife and said, 'The grandson of the Prophet , son of Fatima and blooming flower from the garden of Sayyiduna Ali is in difficulty in the grounds of Karbala. Traitors have got them trapped.' On hearing this, his bride let out a heart trembling sigh and said, 'Oh crown of my head! How upsetting it is that I can't participate with you in this battle. Shariah does not allow women to come to the battlefield in order to fight. Unfortunately, I am deprived of this blessing and I can't sacrifice myself for Imam Hussain . Subhan-Allah , you have made the intention of Heaven and Heavenly women will be waiting for you. Just do one thing for me. When you are in Heaven and are presented with the blessings of Heaven and the Heavenly women are around you, please keep me by your side.' The Hussaini groom took his wife and mother and presented himself in the court of Imam Hussain . The bride said, 'Oh son of The Prophet , as soon as a martyr falls from his horse, he falls into the lap of heavenly women and every wish is fulfilled in Heaven. They (meaning Sayyiduna Wahb ُ) wish to sacrifice themselves for you and I have no other relatives who will take care of me. I just have one wish and it is that I don't be separated from my groom on the Day of Judgement. In this world I wish that you keep me as one of your slave girls so that I can serve your wives .' After hearing all this, Sayyiduna Wahb said, 'Oh Imam Hussain ُ, if through the intercession of the Prophet I am granted Heaven, I will request the Prophet to keep my bride with me because I have made her a promise.' After saying this, Sayyiduna Wahb requested permission from Imam Hussain and went into the battlefield. On seeing this, the enemy became frightful as to who this young man this, riding on a horse all by himself with a spear in his hand and calling out in a loud voice,

Meaning Imaam Hussain is the leader and he is a good leader. His character and personality is like a bright candle.

Sayyiduna Wahb went forward with full speed and whoever came in his way was beheaded. Around him, a pile of heads was being created. The bodies of the enemy could be seen writhing in pain and agony and covered in blood. After a while he changed the direction of his horse and headed towards his mother. He ُ came to his mother and said, 'My dear mother! Are you happy with me now?' He went to his bride who was crying and told her to be patient. As soon as he had said this, a voice was heard from the battlefield calling out meaning is there anyone to fight? Sayyiduna Wahb mounted his horse and headed towards the battlefield for the second time. The new bride is watching her husband leave as tears fall from her eyes. The Hussaini Groom reached the battlefield within moments and saw that the enemy in the field was the famous warrior and expert rider Hakam bin Tufail who was an experienced fighter in the battlefield. With pride he leapt off his horse. With one attack, Sayyiduna Wahb lifted him with his spear and threw him onto the ground and because of the impact of him hitting the ground, his bones got crushed. There was uproar in both armies and the enemy lost the will power to fight. Sayyiduna Wahb rode straight into the heart of the enemy. Whichever enemy came in his way was lifted on his spear and smashed onto the ground. So many enemies were killed using the spear that the spear broke into pieces. As soon as it broke into pieces, he took out his sword and beheaded any enemy in the way. When the enemies became fed up of what Sayyiduna Wahb was doing, the enemy leader Umru bin Sa'ad gave the order that all the soldiers should attack at once and from all around. This order of the leader was followed and all the enemies attacked at once. Sayyiduna Wahb was so badly injured by this cowardly attack that he fell to the ground and the black hearted enemy cut of his blessed head and threw it towards the army of Imam Hussain . The mother of Sayyiduna Wahb picked up the head of her son and rubbed it on her face and said, 'Oh son, my brave son, your mother is happy with you now.' The mother then put the head into the lap of the bride. The bride kissed the head and in that very instance her soul left her body and she joined her Hussaini groom.

Meaning may Allah grant you a place in the gardens of Firdous and immerse you in mercy and the river of Ridwaan. (mulakhkhas az: Sawanih Karbala, P118-123, Shabir brothers Markaz-ul-Auliya Lahore)

My Dear Islamic Brothers! You saw the enthusiasm the AhleBait had and how the Hussaini groom who had only been married for 17 days went into the battlefield and faced the enemy and became entitled to Heaven by being martyred. The mother and wife of the Hussaini groom are also entitled to much praise. Look at how the mother and the wife supported the Hussaini groom and saw him get martyred in the feet of Imaam Hussain . May Allah give even one drop of this enthusiasm to our mothers and sisters so that they can also present their children for the sake of Islam, make them act upon the sunan and make them travel on the Madani Qafilay.
